2013 Ford Focus ST

Ford, the new Focus ST 2013 with a turbo overboost function increases the funds provided. The car is tuned for the turbo response and thus the power over the entire speed range. The factory overboost the torque curve extends 3-4 000rpm 500rpm for 15 seconds. This means not only more power, better handling characteristics. Originally, the Focus ST delivers 250 hp (184 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque from the turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, but with the factory overboost the engine delivers 255HP (188 kW) and 366 nm (270 lb-ft). This is more than 7% more power.

"The turbo itself is specified for a durable, high output power, but they have programmed the car's computer so that more thrust in the past 3,000 rpm dial, give that little extra" engineer Lisa Schoder, marketing manager for the Focus ST comment. "We are reducing peak turbo boost on a wide range of security and stability throughout the lifetime of the car to maintain. But overboost cool in the sense that the pinches acceleration of the turbo for a short time for performance-hungry drivers." he added.

Among the more visible Tangerine Scream options are metallic paint, which is exclusively available on the Focus ST, but Recaro race-inspired seats with matching color accents. Ford offers drivers a preorder Focus ST GoPro ® Motorsports edition Hero2 HD camera package upon delivery. The first 1000 pre-orders between 1 May and 20 August down are entitled to the Hero2 GoPro camera. The cameras will be sent to the delivery vehicle.
