The Mercedes-Benz
G63 AMG fuel economy of 13.8 liters per 100 kilometers (NEDC) is a reduction of
2.1 liters on the previous model, which corresponds to a fuel saving of 13
percent. This
decrease is attributed to the state-of-the-art eight-cylinder biturbo engine,
together with the AMG SPEED-SHIFT 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission, the
generator management system and the ECO start / stop function . The
seven-speed automatic transmission has three driving modes and an automatic
double-disconnect function to return and create an incredible range of
variability. In
"Controlled Efficiency" (C), the ECO start / stop function is active,
the conclusion of the eight-cylinder engine when the vehicle is stationary. "C"
mode also by a smooth, gas and transmission characteristics and the beginning
of the change of acceleration characterized in that the carriage typically
started in second gear in this mode. The
AMG instrument cluster has a green "ECO" icon that, when the ECO is
activated start / stop function displays.
The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is equipped with 5 x 2 spoke alloy wheels. The 9.5 x 20 wheels painted titanium gray with a glossy finish with 275/50 R 20 tires. Also available as an exclusive special feature, the vehicle may be equipped with flat-black painted AMG light-alloy wheels with polished rim flange. The new AMG high-performance brakes deliver top performance in terms of delay, adjustable feed and endurance. Around the perforated ventilated brake discs measuring 375 x 36 mm front and 330 x 20 mm at the rear axle, high heat capacity and excellent braking performance. The front axle is equipped with a six-piston fixed caliper in the ML63 AMG, with a single-piston floating caliper system on the back. The brake calipers are painted red for the entire periphery, and are also available in silver.
With a maximum output of 450 kW (612 hp) and maximum torque of 1000 Nm, which enjoys top-of-the-range V12 model the connoisseur with its incomparable driving dynamics. The G65 AMG accelerates from zero to 100 km / h in just 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 230 km / h (electronically limited). This is the first G-Class with the AMG 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine, new exhaust turbocharger with an increased diameter spiral feature, waste gate ducts, coils and multi-twelve double-flow optimized high power motor controls. The result is a better combustion, resulting in smoother operation and the output power. The high quality carbon and alloy hood adds a final visual touch to this extensive package of new features. As in the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, the AMG SPEED-SHIFT PLUS 7G? TRONIC automatic transmission system is responsible for the transmission of power to all four wheels.
Polished in terms of appearance, the painted G65 AMG V8 apart from its sister model, the polished chrome grille, the 9.5 x 20 AMG five-spoke alloy wheels in titanium gray with, the 275/50 R 20 tires and the V12 biturbo logo on the fenders. Interior of the welcome screen with exclusive AMG V12 biturbo animation, the exclusive design leather upholstery and leather dashboard. A unique touch is the special feature of V12 diamond design of the chairs, including the AMG medallion impressed on the headrests. The most striking feature is repeated on the trim door panels. Provided along with the facelift changes as standard, including the new instrument panel and state-of-the-art infotainment and assistance systems, Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, the AMG instrument cluster with a color TFT screen, an AMG main menu and Separate VSA screen, plus white illuminated AMG door sills on all doors. This stylish E-SELECT shift lever with the characteristic AMG medallion is a familiar feature in other models such as the SLS AMG.
