2013 Volkswagen Up Four Door

Although the Volkswagen Up is not for the U.S., those interested and able, Wolfsburg automaker knows how to get town car, it will come with a whole new, and more efficient gearing options are. Volkswagen calls its automated sequential gearbox, or asks what costs the UK £ 595 buyer.

The ASG is essentially a computerized version of the Up the regular five-speed cog swapper, and both in three and five door versions of the Up and High available ... uhm, Upper variants. Although, because it is automated, the transmission is operating in conjunction with computer control and stability ECU, which then tells the transmission what gear is best for the current state of the roads. Unfortunately, there is no steering wheel-mounted paddle shifter.

The field for the new ASG Up creates an increase in average fuel economy of 1.4 mpg, mpg for an average of 64.2, while the CO2 emissions to drop to 103g/km 2g/km. The Volkswagen Up ASG is now available for order and deliveries are expected to begin in October this year.
